Yoga Happenings in North Central Washington

I am now teaching a Gentle Introduction to Hatha Yoga Monday mornings 8:30-9:30 at Mountain Springs Lodge is Plain. Drop-ins are welcome for $10. Please bring a mat and props (some will be available for loan). There is talk of adding a second (or maybe even a third!) class in Plain later in the week. Stay tuned and let me know if you’re interested.
On Sunday nights, I am still teaching a Yin focused class at Balance Point Health and Fitness just off the Chumstick Highway in Leavenworth. The class currently runs 5:30-7:30 but I will likely move that to a later time in April (7-8:30pm) as well as shortening the time due to the increase of daylight. This class is $15 and drop-ins are welcome. For more info on Yin, please see my other entries.
Thursday evenings, I teach a group in a private home in Wenatchee from 7-8:30. Anyone is welcome to attend. I call this my “Variety Class” because I teach a little bit of everything I know (not all in one class, of course!). Please just ask for directions – we’d love to have you! This class is $12 drop-in.
There are also classes at Balance Point Health and Fitness and several well trained teachers in the area. In Wenatchee, you can find yoga at Body Rhythm Yoga Studio, the WRAC, Read It Again Books and through Wenatchee Valley College. If you are struggling to find a yoga class that works for you, please let me know. There is probably a teacher (like me!) out there wanting to teach more and if we have enough interest, we can set up a class.
