One-Day Silent Retreat // December 5, 2018

One-Day Retreat: Silence, Stillness and Sound
Meditation, Gentle Yoga & Somatic Movement, Mantra
Wednesday, December 5 | 9:00-5:00pm

Winter is a time of turing inward, of quiet reflection… or at least it should be. Instead, in the US, we are drawn outward into holiday festivities. But our nervous systems and mother nature teach us otherwise. So goes the battle.

By taking intentional time amidst the chaos we can bring the inward and outward into balance.

Take your time on December 5 (yes, it is mid-week!) at the beautiful and quiet Canyon Wren on Icicle Creek Center for the Arts grounds.

No previous experience with yoga or meditation required, but recommended. Check with Joanna if you are unsure if this retreat is right for you:

Yoga and movement will be gentle and mostly floor based to keep the nervous system quiet. Meditation will be a combination of silent meditation and metta (loving kindness) meditation.
We will be in silence from 10am until 3:40pm.
