One-Day Yoga Retreat @ Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort

Mandala Vinyasa, Meditation and Restoration

Sunday, September 16 9:30 am – 5:30 pm

Sleeping Lady is ideal for a day of calming the senses, practicing yoga and meditation, and getting away from it all. Join Joanna for this day-long retreat. Perfect for those who can’t get away for a longer retreat!

9:30 to noon – Morning Yoga Practice

Experience Joanna’s unique multi-dimensional vinyasa in which you create a one-time only mandala through movement coordinated with your fellow students. A choreographed “dance” of yoga asana. Although somewhat physically challenging, this practice is accessible to all levels. Please inquire if you have physical limitations.

12:00 to 2:00 pm – Gourmet lunch

We’ll gather in beautiful Kingfisher Restaurant on Sleeping Lady grounds. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan meals available.

2:00 to 3:15 pm – The art and science of meditation.

Through discussion and experience we will explore the how and why of a meditation practice. Whether you are beginner or an experienced meditator, you will gain insight into this valuable and simple practice. Discussion, lecture and meditation.

3:30 to 5:00 pm – Quiet Yoga to restore

Joanna’s own special blend of somatic movement, restorative and therapeutic yoga to soothe the nervous system and restore balance before you head off into the world.

5:00-5:30pm – Wine and chocolate tasting
