Frequently Asked Questions:
When does the retreat start and end?
We will begin with dinner on Sunday, March 22 and end the evening of March 28 with departures on the 29th. Seven nights and six full days.
How many spots do you have?
Currently 15 with possibly a few more but likely not more than 17.
What type of accommodations are available?
There are 10 rooms. There is a bunk room with two bunks, rooms with two and three beds, and private rooms. Each room has its own bathroom. There is also the option to upgrade to a ocean view for an additional $150 per person.
How do I get to Coco B Villa?
You will fly to Cancun. Upon arriving, as long as you arrive in the afternoon, you will be grouped with others for a private transfer to the ferry landing (late arrivals will likely pay for a taxi). The ferry will take you to Isla Mujeres and then a shuttle will take you to Coco B. If there are enough people arriving in close proximity to one another, we may arrange for a private boat to take us right to the Villa which has a private dock.
Isla Mujeres is very touristy, right? Will it be noisy from the other hotels?
Coco B is located in a quiet area of residences (click here for map). It is a 15 minute taxi ride from the ferry dock and an 8 minute taxi to the hotel and restaurant area of the island.
What's the weather like in March in that area?
Daytime temperatures are typically in the low 80s, with nighttime temperatures in the low 70s with low humidity.
What's included?

If I wanted to come early or stay on for a few days after, what do you recommend seeing or doing?
I always recommend coming early to my retreats if at all possible. Do some sightseeing and get over jet lag and travel fatigue. That way, when the retreat starts, you can just rest and be present.
There is the Mayan ruin of Chichen Itza near Cancun. Being close to the Spring Equinox, it would be a powerful time to visit. There is also snorkeling in the Cancun area. Be aware that March brings Spring Break and hotels near the tourist core may be more expensive, busier and noisier than usual.
You could fit these sites in during your retreat week but it will make for a very busy and potentially long day. To have a more restful retreat, we recommend staying on Isla Mujeres and it's nearby waters for the duration of the retreat.
Also, if you have the flexibility, I would recommend arriving early rather than staying on after the retreat.
